Tucked in along the edge of the Cumberland Plateau, among springs and creeks, gullies and ridges, lies a small farm that was carved out by our ancestors at the turn of the 19th century. This was the playground of our childhood.
Our roots. Our inspiration.
Clay and humus,
limestone and sandstone,
fescue and orchard grass,
beech, oak, poplar, and maple.
Line, color, texture. Space, shape, and tone.
Beech Cove is not just a farm, and it is more than our inspiration. It is our home.
We are a small scale, diversified vegetable garden focused on year-round growing. Sign up for our HARVEST CSA BELOW!
"We have the world to live in on the condition that we will take good care of it. And to take good care of it, we have to know it. And to know it and to be willing to take care of it, we have to love it."
how we grow
Healthy soil. Healthy plants. Healthy humans.
We believe the best model we have for sustainability and beauty is found in nature. So we don't use synthetic pesticides or herbicides. We use rich compost to build our soil and organic fertilizers to feed our roots. We also leverage small-scale appropriate technology and innovation like occultation covers, precision seeders, and season extension.
If you have any questions or would love to see how we grow in person, send us a message.
