Harvest CSA 2017
CSA IS A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN FARMERS & MEMBERS
Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is at its simplest a partnership between you and the farmer. We open sign ups in June, long before we harvest a single vegetable. You pay us up front for a season's worth of vegetables, and this gives us the capital we need to kick off the season. We use your CSA membership dollars to buy seed, fertilizer, potting soil, tools, and more.
Starting in early September we begin distributing the harvest. Members join us every week for four months, collecting the veggies that they helped us grow. Your investment allows us to buy what we need to grow the healthiest, highest quality produce possible! And we return that investment to you in the form of vegetables all season long!
WHAT'S IN A SHARE?
Each week, your Beech Cove Farm box will include salad mix, root vegetables, fresh herbs, micro-greens, and a cooking green. We hope receiving these set items each week will help you in meal planning. You will also receive seasonal items that will vary from week to week, such as cherry tomatoes, sweet potatoes, summer squash, winter squash, cucumbers, green onions, beets, etc.
The veggie CSA season will run 16 weeks, from approximately the first week of September through the end of December. The exact start date for the season will depend on the weather & other factors: members will be informed by email of the start date 7-10 days before the first pick up.

You may also pickup at the farm by giving us 24 hour notice. If you cannot make it to a pickup, let us know and we will donate your veggies for that week.
SHARE OPTIONSThere are two ways to enjoy our CSA. If you don’t feel like you could use an entire share every week but would love to be a part of the CSA, the half share is perfect for you! You will receive a share every other week during the season. 8 weeks total.
